To mark International Family Equality Day, last week we co-hosted over 100 members of the Lloyd's Pride and Allies network and the Families@Lloyd's network for a panel discussion exploring modern and diverse families.
John Neal, Lloyd's CEO, opened the session, with Annette Andrews, Chief People Officer, highlighting Lloyd's revised policies. They were followed by a diverse panel of speakers who discussed if and how employers are bringing their policies and support systems up to date, whether the focus is on adoption, foster parenting, surrogacy, special needs, elderly parenting, caring responsibilities and much more.
It was fascinating to hear what Lloyd's is doing in this space, and from a recruitment perspective how that fits with well-being and talent retention.
