A fast growing, high successful social media agency is scaling up and looking for a No.2 in finance, reporting direct to the CFO.

Purpose of The Role
The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Finance team and the commercial business, reporting to the CFO. They will be responsible for all accounting tasks. Owning the month end duties, preparing budgets & forecasts, maintaining reporting, bank reconciliation, cash flow forecasting and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties.
The role is working in a hybrid environment, with most of the role being from home, but also offers access to a co-working space in central London.
Day to Day Responsibilities
? Managing day to day finance transactions
? Prepare monthly Management Accounts for 2 entities (UK & US)
? Preparation of KPIs, revenue and cash flow forecasts, budgets, ad hoc analysis, year-end audit requests and general information requests
? Working with the client teams to undertake commercial analysis and understand revenue recognition on a deferred basis.
? Work with the project managers to closely monitor all campaigns so that they are delivered on time and in budget.
? Carry-out daily bank reconciliations, across multiple accounts which involves a lot of inter-account movements
? Accounts Payable: day-to-day running of Account Payable: recording supplier invoices, reconciling key accounts to supplier statements, preparing payment runs, dealing with queries, etc. This includes our influencer platform and managing the influencer payment account balances
? Accounts Receivable: raise invoices from revenue generating teams, manage interface with and reconcile to invoicing platform. Support client-facing team with invoicing issues
? Day-to-day credit control and look for ways to improve cash collection.
? Controlling the reconciliation of payments to our creators in a timely and effective manner.
? Manage staff and credit card expenses
? Prepare quarterly VAT returns and reconciliation

Skills Required
? Accuracy and attention to detail
? Proficiency with Excel, data visualization and presentation tools
? Experience in Balance Sheet Account Preparation
? Detail Oriented, organized and timely
? Part or newly qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent, looking for a progressive role in an exciting industry
