FP&A Manager - Tech start up

A fab, diverse tech start up is recruiting for a brand new role of a FP&A Manager to join their London Finance Team. You will be responsible for managing the FP&A processes, liaising with the commercial teams and assisting business planning, budgets and quarterly and annual forecast submissions. You will also play a crucial role in supporting cost reduction initiatives as well as ensuring the company maintains a healthy capital balance to fund the rapid growth.

The Role:

  • Working closely with the executive team to develop department budget and forecasts
  • Prepare and deliver management reporting and comparison to budget and forecasts
  • Manage hiring plan and report progress
  • Identify cost-saving or revenue-generating opportunities
  • Establish trends and proactively identify risks impacting full-year results
  • Partner with teams to provide financial insight and optimise profitability and performance through financial analysis and recommending improvement to financial and operational procedures

To perform, this role well you will need to have experience of modelling and presentation, advanced Excel and other modelling tools. Previous experience in tech companies, especially SaaS will give an edge. This is also a business partnering role, you will build close rapport with senior stakeholders, expect to present your finding to non finance people. You data interpretation will provide great impact on company's decision making.
