Hardware Electrical Engineer and Test Engineer (PCB designer and firmware programmer)

London - Remote - £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus, Pension, Equity.

The Consultancy Group are very excited to have partnered with an exciting, up and coming business in the sports sector. This innovative start-up has already made a considerable impact in the industry, partnering with some of the largest, globally renowned athletes and sports teams, including involvement in some of the world's largest sports competitions and events.

The business is now looking for a Hardware Electrical and Test Engineer to come onboard to assist with the development of the product and be a part of it's launch to the wider market.

Hardware Electrical Engineer and Test Engineer Job Requirements:

  • The role is 50/50 between classical hardware electrical engineer (PCB designer and firmware programmer) and test engineer of electrochemical sensors as well as micro-engineered devices
  • Experience in each of the main parts of the hardware stack - including Analog design (mandatory), MCUs, BLE communication, firmware development
  • PCB design experience for high precision acquisition systems
  • Will do testing electrochemical sensors which have been manufactured by 3rd party suppliers
  • Will do testing of micro-machined devices
  • Programming/Scripting skills for creating automated testing infrastructure from scratch (e.g., Python, LabView)
  • Familiarity with measurement devices, Oscilloscopes, function generators, DMM, potentiostats
  • Manufacturing of micro-engineered devices
  • Familiarity with RaspberryPI Linux
  • Approx 5 years industrial experience (or PhD + 2)
