Interim Finance Business Partner

Job description

A leading billion pound turnover business are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a period of 12 months.

With main duties to include -

§ Finance project lead and support on the regional transformation programme which is a key pillar of the regional business plan

§ Management of transformation budget and forecast ensuring that financial targets are developed, and that performance is monitored against these targets.

§ Review of operational processes and costs to ensure financial results are reported accurately and the business is operating in a controlled manner.

§ Standard monthly and periodic reporting and ad hoc analysis and insight detailing trends, key variances

§ Provide commercial support and challenge to enable effective decision making in the IS&T transformation on efficiency improvements and investment in the regional costs

§ Collate regional gross costs, including segment, geography and central costs and provide insight on cost and capex for the UK&I region

§ Develop and implement cost model where all costs are directly managed by the CIO and then an appropriate recharge model is developed to reallocate cost across the UK+I business

§ Financial oversight of the governance and reporting of the business cases and projects. Supporting development of regional business cases to a high standard and ensuring appropriate reviews of cost, both capex and opex, and that the business benefits are clear and realistic.

§ Work with vendor management to evaluate suppliers and when making changes ensure any savings or benefits are validated and captured.
