Workday Programme Manager

Job description

The Consultancy Group have recently been retained to scale up the Transformation Programme of a global Media business based in Central London. Our client is standardising their target people processes on the Workday Platform and we are looking for a Workday Programme Manager to oversee the implementation and to embed new and standardised ways of working across all functions.

 Main responsibilities

-       Validate the business case and systems implementation partner scope of work

-       Establish the program of work, governance, and phasing of the deliverables to ensure business benefits are achieved

-       Perform a gap analysis of the current state process work completed to date

-       Agree the target state processes, approval workflows, reporting and ongoing governance or legal compliance requirements.

-       Establish the Change program for building, implementing and embedding the target operating model

-       Work within the project management framework, ensuring all project & programme governance is correctly setup and adhered to.

-       Manage and lead a cohesive team made up of business specialists, internal project resources and the systems implementation partner, ensuring workstreams are planned and executed effectively.

-       Work across the business to galvanise support for the program and associated changes

-       Validate program KPIs, confirm scope, agree critical success factors

-       Manage the project work plan and hold the team and resources accountable to variances in budget and hours.

-       Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups


Key Requirements:

-       Experience leading multiple global Workday projects (and project teams) preferably across different industries and regions

-       Project management certified eg Managing Successful Programs or a Program Management certification in addition to PRINCE2, SCRUM or PMI
