We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will become part of a small supportive team, with the overall finance function being open plan in a vibrant, highly desired office location.
Main responsibilities:
- The issue of invoices and credit notes
- Posting all invoices received from the inhouse account system
- Keep the invoice tracker up to date and accurate
- Allocation of all accounts to assist with debt management
- The investigation of any invoice queries
- Debtor reporting
- Credit control assistance when require
- Adhoc finance responsibilities to assist the Finance Manager where needed
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience within a similar role, ideally coming from a retail background
- Intermediate Excel skill
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
