Job Description
The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting for a credit controller to join a busy media and events business based in London. This is a 2 month temporary position, likely to be extended, to assist the credit team during their busiest time of the year. The successful candidate will have a confident phone manner and be able to hit the ground running.
The Role:
Role and Responsibilities:
- Build relationships via phone and email
- Chase for overdue payments and ensure B2B and B2C customers pay on time and chase any overdue invoices
- Allocate cash
- Monitoring and checking invoices via emails and telephone
- Building good relationship with customers and clients
- Resolving customers queries
- Working alongside the wider accountancy team
- Cash book entries - Reconcile payments received to the customer accounts on daily basis
- Checking on solvency of customers
Previous Experience:
- 12 months+ experience with the full credit control process
- Intermediate Excel - Vlookup, Sumifs
- Confident phone manner
