Job Description




Duties & Responsibility's:

  • Manage the month end process and ensure the GL is closed accurately and on time.
  • Manage the balance sheets for London and Paris and produce balance sheet reconciliations on the monthly basis, investigate and resolve any differences
  • Post payroll costs and perform variance analysis to budget of this key area of cost
  • Manage the cashflow forecast of the business including 8 bank accounts across 4 different currencies including FX planning and treasury management
  • Be responsible for accounting of rental and service charge income our tenants and ensure they are billed on time
  • Be the first point of contact for all VAT queries/planning within the business and liaise with our external VAT partner to ensure all monthly/quarterly/annual returns are filed accurately and time.
  • Provide monthly P&Ls and variance analysis to the head of IT and head of facilities
  • Assist the FC and FD with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Assist the FC with producing the year end deliverables including financial statements, audit files, group reporting files and corporation tax submissions
  • Oversea the work of the finance assistant ensuring deadlines is met and work performed is timely and accurately

Essential Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified or Finalist (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong academic record
  • Highly organised with keen attention to detail
  • Advanced level Excel spreadsheet skills and systems literacy
  • Experience of managing a month end reporting process
  • Experience of cashflow forecasting
  • Experience of VAT reporting would be a bonus
  • Experience working in fast paced, quick turnaround environments
  • Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across the organisation
