Job Description

The Consultancy Group is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join a growing eCommerce retailer based in Central London. This is a 12 month FTC with a November start date ideally.

What you will be doing:

  • Monthly Close and management reporting, including preparation of monthly accounts, timely reporting to the Group and ownership of the balance sheet & monthly reconciliations
  • Acting as the primary contact for intercompany reconciliations
  • Management accounting
  • Management information reporting
  • Conducting costing and margin reviews, identifying opportunities and risks
  • Development of KPIs and KPI tools in alignment with divisional guidelines
  • Production of KPI reports meeting group & divisional requirements
  • Departmental overhead reporting
  • Cash flow reviews and working capital reporting
  • Financial planning & forecasting, including preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting, preparation of forecast balance sheet and cash flow
  • Acting as a partner to the business, providing financial support in the decision-making process and inform strategic thinking/project planning
  • Assisting with the annual audit
  • Preparing VAT returns, both UK and EU
  • Preparing external stakeholder reports
  • Maintaining a robust controls framework
  • Identifying additional efficiencies to improve current practices

About You:

You must have

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Advanced excel skills

It would be helpful if you are also:

  • Familiar with inventories/retail/online business
  • Experienced in working within group structures on an accounting and organisation basis
  • Experienced in handling large data sets
  • Able to work with DB tools
