Job Description
The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting for an interim Group Financial Accountant to join a PLC business based in Central London. Your role will consolidate the groups income statement, balance sheet and cashflow information on a monthly basis.
Financial Reporting
- Consolidates the Group's income statement, balance sheet and cash flow information on a monthly basis
- Interprets new accounting standards
- Develops and maintains the Group's Financial Accounting and Reporting Policies in accordance with IFRS
- Ensures that Financial Accounting and Reporting Policies are adhered to throughout the Group
- Acts as primary source of advice for Financial Accounting and Reporting queries - both market-based queries and also Group structuring queries
- Acts as primary point of contact for key areas of reporting such as impairment reviews, accounting for share based awards and post-retirement benefits
- Maintains the Group's models for going concern and viability assessment
Person Specification
- Qualified Accountant;
- Experienced in the preparation of complex consolidated management and financial information
- Excellent understanding of IFRS reporting requirements
- Delivery focused with an ability to work to tight deadline
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP BPC preferred
