An established leading retail company who have large offices internationally are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in London. The reason for the role being available is due to a system change over and expansion of the brand.
Your new role
This unique 12 month FTC role, needs a person who is driven, can use their initiative and work well independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of the purchase ledger functions from processing of supplier invoices (up to 1000 a month), preparing payment runs, handling supplier queries, assisting with the closing for month end and more. The successful candidate will have knowledge of SAP and Advanced Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
- The ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of 12 months.
- Have excellent organisational skills, be a quick learner possessing a high attention to detail.
- You will have experience in raising a large volume of purchase orders, processing a high volume of invoices, reconciling supplier statements.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment and working to deadlines would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of SAP.
