Job Description
The Consultancy Group are working closely working with a global transportation firm. They are in search for an Interim Financial Controller to lead their reporting function and directly report into the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate 2018 YE and capture lessons learnt for next year
- Support closure of SAO plan for FD submission
- Draft payroll processes in preparation for in-sourcing payroll bureau
- Agree plan to drive Shared Service Centre KPIs that will improve quality of financial transactions
- Prepare August balance sheet file with common look & feel with supporting documentation as necessary
- Formalise ME processes and controls
- Experience leading the controls function engagements from planning through to completion (on statutory audits), accounts preparation (IFRS and UK GAAP) and corporation tax returns.
- Oversight of Balance Sheets/Month-End/ Year-end
Key Skills:
- Qualified (ACA/ ACCA)
- Strong controls experience
- Strong reporting knowledge
