- A breadth of experience in Hyperion Planning through implementations and support roles

- Able to provide recommendations on the future roadmap of the GNM Hyperion solution
- Main duties and responsibilities
Maintain, Support, and Enhance the Hyperion Planning Solution
- Critic the current solution to ensure that it is efficiently meeting the business requirements and make recommendations for improvements
- Implement and Govern the GNM Global EPM Strategy to continually improve, maximise use and reduce cost of ownership of the Oracle Hyperion EPM platforms across GNM
- Govern EPM architecture strategy and articulate EPM Solution & Innovation Roadmap
- Translate business needs into functional specs and deliver through to implementation which are fit for the future
- Maintain the overall system performance and optimisation (Block size, Cache settings, properties, etc)
- Management of the Hyperion Meta Data Structure (EPMA) and the Hyperion Staging Area (SQL) with the associated interfaces with source systems
- Maintenance and enhancement of the Hyperion Applications/Databases (BSO & ASO), Business Rules, Calc Scripts, MaXL Scripts, Data Forms, Security and Dimensionality
- Support and assist Oracle Systems Analysts with Month End/ Forecast and Budget tasks as necessary
- Keep up to date with Hyperion product enhancements, patches, and upgrades
- Risks clearly articulated and communicated to all the finance, support and IT stakeholders
Work with infrastructure/IT providers to ensure stability and availability of the Hyperion Planning solution and any dependant technology:
- Manage relationship with infrastructure providers and own resolution of system issues.
- Articulate technical specification of EPM architecture.
Support the Finance/Business functions
- Work with business to shape any new requirements for the systems e.g. Digital Advertising model and Payroll model improvements
- Perform testing on all system enhancements
- Provide Training, user guides and support assistance to Hyperion Planning users (currently c 30 Finance users)
- Manage the communication with the business on system availability
- Occasional out of hours support
- Raise & track support requests with Oracle
- Desire to support other Finance / HR Systems, including but not restricted to the Oracle e-business Suite and Oracle Taleo
- Coordinating and manage the delivery of business change
- Coordination of training, participating in the impact assessment, performance improvements and change management process for Hyperion planning application
- Engage and Influence Finance management team to embed a continuous improvement culture supported by ongoing change management.
